About us
What started out as a necessary indulgence has grown into a thriving specialty coffee roastery. I had let my consulting contract expire and became a stay-at-home dad caring for our newborn, 1 and 3 year old daughters while my wife finished her residency. It was challenging to be sure; but giving up my daily coffee shop visit was more so. I had to find a solution and it came in the form of green coffee beans and a hot air popcorn popper. Seven years later, I purchased a 5 kilo commercial coffee roaster, a few hundred pounds of green coffee, and began roasting in my converted garage. No real customers, just a dream. That was in 2007.
Now, Victoria Coffee Roasters has a growing list of coffee shops, cafe's and boutiques; even a water park!
We quickly discovered many of our customers had no-one local to discuss their needs or service their equipment. In 2010, we added sales, service, and consulting. Since then, we have maintained our customer's espresso machines and grinders; guided new customers as they made their dreams a reality, and matched them with the right equipment to meet their budget and business model.
Today, while we are still a small batch, specialty coffee roastery, we can offer new and existing customer more support as they grow.
